The Chirp Conference Might Be Over, But The Party Keeps Going A Little Bit Longer
by Ken Yeung on April 18, 2010

Last Thursday, San Francisco bid adieu to the first ever Chirp conference – an event devoted to developers building apps for Twitter. Despite earlier drama surrounding the event and some remarkable news during the keynotes, Twitter threw a party that said “thank you all for showing up, this is how we party with friends”.
Held at the 1015 nightclub in San Francisco, the after‑party was a technology‑all‑star affair. An open bar, four rooms of music, and top‑tier DJs turned the night into the place to be.
- BT (renowned Bay‑Area DJ) kicked off the main room.
- At 11 p.m., Will .I Am of the Black Eyed Peas took the stage for a non‑stop four‑hour set.
The guest list read like a who’s‑who of the Twitter universe: Mashable’s Ben Parr, oneforty’s Laura Fitton, Loic Le Meur, Chris Messina, Dave McClure, Scott Beale, Larry Chiang, and many more.
