Livelia, a marketplace co-created by WedidVentures and Grupo Caballero that will break into the home category at the beginning of June, closes a pre-seed round of 115,000 euros for product development.
This multichannel platform for furniture and decoration connects manufacturers with consumers and hybridizes online and offline shopping through a network of partner stores.
The goal is not to leave out any market player, bringing together brands and retailers under the same umbrella, “ensuring a better user experience and impeccable service,” say its promoters.
liveliahome.com was created to respond to the traditional particularities of the sector, overcoming the 3 major barriers that customers encounter when shopping digitally in the “home” category:
1.- needs advice and does not get it (prescription).
2.- they want to “see and touch” and they cannot (experience)
3.- seeks reliability in delivery and assembly services (trust).
The pre-seed round of 115,000 euros has been led by Grupo Caballero and will be used for the realization of the MVP and the management of the onboarding of manufacturers and stores. At the moment, 15 professionals are working on the project, including Wedid’s launch teams and development profiles. Livelia is preparing a seed round of 450,000 euros that will close before the summer.
