Influencer marketing company CreatorIQ announced that it closed a new $40 million funding round,from existing investors TVC Capital, Kayne Partners Fund (the private equity group of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors), Affinity Group and Unilever Ventures.
CreatorIQ said it would use the new capital to expand into new verticals and geographies. Over the past year, Influencer marketing was a hot area and one that saw heaps of new startups emerge. CreatorIQ was one of the first companies to provide platforms and services to manage Instagram influencer campaigns and was one of the first companies to offer influencer-marketing software as a service.
