This is "The Heartbeat of the Earth", a project created between the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Google Arts & Culture.

They are works of art in digital format inspired by climate data. They have used UN reports and data from scientific institutions, and have created with them four pieces of art dealing with different themes:

  • Glacial retreat.
  • Oceanic Ecosystems.
  • Food consumption.
  • Sea level rise.

From being able to discover how the ocean is becoming more acidic, how corals are becoming whiter or certain species are disappearing, to being able to analyse the carbon footprint of the food we eat, the works of art invite reflection, much more than excel tables without personality, and that is why they invite us to enjoy these virtual resources on experiments.withgoogle.com.
