Nooks, the leading AI-powered sales assistant platform, today announced the launch of its AI Sales Assistant Platform (ASAP) and a $43 million Series B funding round led by Kleiner Perkins. This brings Nooks’ total funding to $70 million, including a $5 million seed round and a $22 million Series A.

“The future of sales is human reps working hand-in-hand with AI assistants,” said Nooks in their official blog post. “Our AI Sales Assistant Platform empowers reps to focus on the strategic, human parts of sales while our assistants handle the busywork.”

Nooks’ AI Dialing Assistant helps teams have more quality conversations with prospects by automating tasks like finding phone numbers, skipping answering machines, leaving voicemails, and taking notes. Most teams using Nooks see a 2-3x increase in call volume and conversations.

  • The AI Coaching Assistant transcribes and scores every call, identifies areas for improvement, and simulates realistic prospect conversations to reduce ramp times and increase conversion rates.
  • The AI Prospecting Assistant conducts in-depth account research, builds prospect lists, and drafts personalized outreach emails to help reps land high-converting leads.
  • “Unlike AI SDRs that spam inboxes, our AI assistants empower human reps to have more meaningful, personalized conversations,” said Nooks. “We’re helping sales teams be more human, not less.”

The new AI Sales Assistant Platform (ASAP) tightly integrates these assistants, eliminating the need for reps to juggle multiple tools. Reps can now focus on building relationships and closing deals, while the AI handles tasks like call notes, follow-up reminders, and email drafting.

There are currently 3 million inside sales reps in the US, all with the primary goals of generating a pipeline of deals and closing them to produce revenue. However, low-leverage activities like online research, writing prospecting emails, and dialing contacts consume the time they could spend on more strategic selling. Nooks aims to automate these time-consuming tasks and free reps to focus on human-centered, strategic work that generates significantly more pipeline.

With this funding, Nooks plans to continue expanding its AI assistant capabilities and integrating them seamlessly into the sales workflow. The company is committed to empowering human sales reps, not replacing them.
