Artificial, the lab automation platform, raises $21M with Microsoft’s M12

Artificial, a company that built a platform specifically to aid lab workes, is now endowed with an additional $21 million in venture capital with help from Microsoft’s M12 venture capital wing.

Their product is marketed as aLab Suite, and automates the management of robotic machines typically found in laboratories.

“The basic premise of what we’re trying to do is accelerate the rate of discovery in labs,” said CEO Fuller. “We need to have a digital revolution to change the way that labs have been operating for the last 20 years.”
