Practically giving in on the future of the tablet as a tablet, Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 3 yesterday as a laptop replacement that can also serve as a tablet for those “lean back” moments. The new 12″ device is being marketed as a MacBook Air killer rather than an iPad killer.

SXSW 2014: Day 2 (or… we’re now South-By Stars!)

As we settle into the chaos of around 30,000 people gathering in Austin’s tiny downtown area, the rain has not dampened spirits. We attended sessions, hid out in the PayPal lounge to charge our gadgets, and shared tips on how to get into the “hot” sessions and trending parties.
